Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the team behind this application (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the App on iPhone, iPad and Mac. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License — Apple's Standard EULA
The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), which applies in all countries and regions and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. The Apple Standard EULA is the end user license agreement for the App.
These Terms of Use are supplementary and cover matters the Apple Standard EULA does not, such as our subscription details, advertising, and acceptable use. They do not replace, and are not intended to conflict with, the Apple Standard EULA. If anything in these Terms conflicts with the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA prevails, except where these Terms give you greater protection as a consumer.
2. The App
The App lets you record, import, and edit audio on your device, with tools for multitrack editing, effects, transcript-based editing, voice polish, stem separation, spectrogram repair, and audio export. It is available for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Some features are only available on certain devices: importing from your Apple Music library and Wi-Fi Transfer are available on iPhone and iPad only.
Core editing features are available for free. On iPhone and iPad the free version is supported by advertising (see section 8); the Mac version shows no ads. A Pro subscription unlocks the advanced tools and removes all ads.
3. Subscriptions (Auto-Renewable)
An optional "Pro" subscription unlocks premium features. Weekly and yearly plans are available. The exact price is shown in the App before you purchase, in your local currency.
- Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and for renewals within 24 hours before the period ends.
- One subscription, all your devices: A Pro subscription unlocks Pro on iPhone, iPad and Mac when you use the same Apple Account. Use "Restore Purchases" in the App's Settings on any device where Pro is not yet active.
- Managing/Cancelling: Manage or cancel anytime — on iPhone or iPad in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Mac in App Store → your account → Account Settings → Subscriptions — or via "Manage Subscription" in the App's Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period stays active until it ends.
- Purchases are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
4. Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple and refunds are managed by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Your Content and Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the audio and content you record, import, edit, or transfer, and for having the rights to do so. You agree not to use the App to infringe intellectual property rights or to create or distribute unlawful content. You retain all rights to your own content; we claim no ownership of it.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by law; (b) use the App unlawfully; (c) interfere with the App or the Wi-Fi Transfer local server (iPhone and iPad) for unauthorized access; or (d) resell or redistribute the App.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand usage and improve the App, and, on iPhone and iPad, Google AdMob to serve advertising in the free version. Your use of these features is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Advertising (iPhone and iPad)
On iPhone and iPad, the free version of the App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the free version there you agree that the App may display full-screen ads, including after the launch screen and at natural break points such as closing a project or completing an export.
Rewarded ads. Some Pro tools can also be used once, free of charge, by choosing to watch a short rewarded video ad. Watching is always optional: the ad plays only when you tap "Watch an ad to use once", and a completed ad unlocks that tool for a single use. The number of rewarded ads per day is limited. The most advanced tools (Transcript, Voice Polish, Vocal separation and Spectrogram Repair) require a Pro subscription.
Mac. The Mac version of the App shows no advertising. On Mac, the Pro tools are available with a Pro subscription.
Ads are limited to a G (general audiences) content rating. The App does not request permission to track you and does not use your device's advertising identifier for cross-app tracking, so ads are not personalised on that basis. Ad content is supplied by Google and its partners; we do not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.
Removing ads. Purchasing a Pro subscription removes all advertising from the App for as long as the subscription remains active. If your subscription lapses, ads return on iPhone and iPad. See our Privacy Policy for what data advertising involves.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that processing results will meet your expectations. Keep backups of important audio.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, AUDIO, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
12. Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
As set out in section 1, the App is licensed under the Apple Standard EULA, which applies in all countries and regions and prevails over these Terms in the event of a conflict.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Governing Law and Your Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country in which you reside. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
